After facing a formidle and albeit an unexpected enemy the Avenger limps back to Starbase 212 to repair, resupply, and bury their honored dead. As the crew grieves and mourns their fallen comrades, an evil beyond all evils lies in wait to not only destroy the Avenger, but to conquer the entire Alpha Quadrant. Will one ship and one crew be enough to stop this enemy or will evil prevail?
